Zaofu

The Free City of Zaofu is an administrative division of the Earth Kingdom which comprises its eponymous city and its surrounding regions. As a free city, Zaofu possesses ancestral privileges within the Earth Kingdom and enjoys a high degree of autonomy from royal control.

Zaofu is a wealthy and advanced society known for its glistening architecture, well-educated population and proficiency in earthbending. Metalbending was reputedly invented in Zaofu before spreading throughout the Earth Kingdom.
