Skylge
Skylge is an island in Fryslan in the Central Sea. Relatively small and undeveloped, the island has a small population and is largely outshadowed by near Ljouwert.
Civil war
During the Frisian Civil War, Skylge soon lost its western half to the Socialist Republic of Fryslân. The rest of the island gradually fell to the Abolitionist cause. The communists inexplicably refused to consolidate the island, despite the easy prospect of success, and soon lost the ability to meaningfully project power following the fall of the communists on Mainland Fryslân.
This culminated in the Battle of Ljouwert Baai, where Socialist naval forces led by Sytze Boatsma attempted to break anarcho-capitalist control on the seas. This attempt failed, causing the communist experiment on Skylge to fail. Their territory was soon annexed by the local abolitionists.
