The Silverist War is an ongoing conflict in the Duchy of Yorktown between the Silverists and the Ducal government of Yorktown, with other combatants entering at later dates. The conflict was initiated by disaffected aristocrats who felt that the Ducal government under the leadership of Duke Blue-Reed had forfeited its right to rule due to alleged connections to the "Burners", a group of religious radicals that ruled the Duchy of Lightning to the south. The war is notable for its protracted nature and the back-and-forth nature of the conflict, with different sides appearing to be on the cusp of victory at different points.
