Port Keraunos

Port Keraunos is the capital of the Duchy of Lightning, named for its leader Duke Karl Keraunos. It was the first site to be claimed and settled by the Burners, where a number of Lire warriors were killed. The port also played a key role in the conversion of Yorktown to the Church of Fire through the request that one be imported, causing the text to be exposed to President Blue-Reed of the United Socialist Republic of Yorktown which prompted their conversion, seeing the establishment of the Duchy of Yorktown. Close relations with the Yorkish continue to this day.
