Even Newer Mexico is a country in the far-east, which is vassalized to the Fire Nation. Even Newer Mexico, or ENM as it is often referred to, has a proud military legacy and the strong personality of its leader, Bigby Branson. During the War of the Flowers, Even Newer Mexican legionnaires took heavy casualties but played a massive strategic role in guaranteeing Fire Nation victory. The nation is known internationally for its love of cocks, with ample cock-related architecture such as the Palace of the Drowned Cock and the Cocks of Victory.
History
Even Newer Mexican independence was proclaimed on 19 July 2021. This was in direct response to the outbreak of the Mexican War, which saw the proclamation of a state called "New Mexico". Bigby Branson had criticised and condemned the former state of Mexico for a great amount of time and saw the new state of New Mexico as a vicious continuation of this. Accordingly, he sought to not only support the Fire Nation's war effort in media, but also to provide direct military support by establishing a vassal state.
Even Newer Mexico would participate in the War of the Flowers to aid the Fire Nation's cause, playing a crucial role at the Battle of Four Armies. Bigby led an outnumbered ENM force into battle against a far larger Senerii army led by Arkala. This incident saw high casualties in his ranks but was enough to save the Fire Nation army led by Alweglim from encirclement, ultimately winning the war. The ENM army would also compose the majority of forces during the "Baron's Burn", a punitive conquest of the Carnii who had held out following the joint Senerii-Othii defeat.
Geography
At the declaration of its independence, the territory of Even Newer Mexio was defined as the entire world, except for the Fire Nation and the Fire Nation's allies. While this is still the official position, actually controlled territory largely consisted of the Eastern Sea adjacent to the Fire Nation for much of the state's history. Much of the cocks are thus built at sea, translating the formidable ENM Army's power into sea power also.
Following the War of the Flowers, former Senerii territory was granted to Even Newer Mexico by the Fire Nation, as they were primarily concerned with the colonization and pacification of the other three tribes in the area. Renamed "Provincia Victorum", this new territory saw the surge of new provinces for administering and expanding the Even Newer Mexican Empire. These provinces are:

Government and politics
While it is a vassal to the Fire Nation, all domestic matters are settled within Even Newer Mexico by the authority of Baron Bigby Branson. Society is organised into a system of 12 Legions, to which all subjects must participate. These are organised further into forts, which are scattered across the provinces and core territories. Even Newer Mexico is an absolutist state, and thus no decision of the Baron's may be questioned or overruled except by the Firelord.
Economy
Even Newer Mexico is a highly wealthy society, in large part from conquered plunder. It also exports a variety of goods, such as terracotta, gold, weaponry, and fish.
Demographics
Despite its name, Even Newer Mexico claims no affiliation to any sense of Mexican identity. Instead, it views itself as an entirely new project, tangential to the original Mexican ideal. All within the territory are deemed as Evennewerese, as all are subject to the Baron's law and thus there is no further meaningful distinction to be made.
Culture
Even Newer Mexican culture is highly militaristic and extravagant. Youth are trained at an early age to participate in the Legion structure, with the expectation of future military service for all. In times of peace, lavish construction projects and personal consumption prevail, as the benefits reaped from war are used to feed the nation.
The presence of the Church of Fire is profound, with the Baron personally being highly religious. The vast majority of the kingdom are Flametouched believers, with the only known exception being those within the consulates of the Air Nation, Water Tribe, and Cassland.
