Askhamn

Askhamn is a port in the Fire Nation on the Spawn Lake, acting as a bridge to the nearby Air Nation which has a consulate.

During the War of the Flowers, Askhamn served as the launching point for Fire Nation forces entering Othii territory. The Battle of Mount Alweglim, a decisive Fire Nation victory, was fought near the town. Firelord Alweglim later suffered an assassination attempt at the site of the battle while delivering a speech to honour the fallen.

The Firelord recovered at Askhamn following this incident, transforming the town into a military hospital. Run by Runelord, every expense was afforded to the Firelord's wellbeing.

After recovering and returning to Fenixholm, Askhamn's medical expertise was recognised with the construction of its first hospital, the leading medical institution of the Fire Nation.
