Aircraft carriers are a relatively rare type of ship and do not constitute a different sort of craft type. The first completed aircraft carrier was ENS Kyoshi, but many have been built since in both the Earth Kingdom and elsewhere.
History
ENS Kyoshi was finished in February 2021 and was immediately dubbed the flagship of the Earth Navy. The ship is notable for its lack of torpedoes, but it has sophisticated stone+water armour and fire charges for defense. It is capable of carrying 6 airskiffs in the Earth Air Force design, who are the main attack force of the ship.
The Kyoshi was not the first attempt to build an aircraft carrier - Vidcom had attempted to build one out of wood in Cassland before ultimately giving up on the project, upon which it was transferred to the Free Territory and then dismantled for scrap.
Kyoshi was once the largest vehicle of any kind in the world, at over 6000 blocks, marking the start of the Earth Kingdom naval build up. Its air force has a maximum range of 11.5km, or 23k without returning to ship, and can attack with torpedoes, fire charges, or TNT bombing.
