Treaty of Gaoling

The Treaty of Gaoling was a landmark legal agreement signed by the Earth Kingdom and Air Nation. The treaty was pursued following the establishment of the Air Nation's two protectorates, the Northern Protectorate and the Western Protectorate, in the Northern Sea, which was itself done shortly after the Earth Kingdom's northern expansion towards Peining and establishment of the Northern Frontier Administration. The treaty effectively demilitarised the NFA barring the port of Chigong and the whole of the WP, while also establishing the groundwork for future ties between the two nations. These future ties would be realised in the Treaty of Highwind, which would see the two powers ally.
