Riders of the Veynir

The Riders of the Veynir are a nomadic nonbender people group located in the centre of Valena. Specialising in light cavalry warfare, the Veynir have been a major force in the fates of nations on the continent, either destroying their enemies or coercing them into paying them off. This hegemonic position was broken at the Battle of the Flaming Ford, where a coalition led by Trolvistan inflicted a crushing defeat on the Veynir.
