Plantbending

Plantbending is a subelement of waterbending that allows Waterbenders to use their waterbending moves with plants as a source block as well as liquid water. These new sources include cacti, flowers, tall grass, leaves, and others. There is a passive effect that lets them not take fall damage while landing on leaves, but it appears to apply somewhat inconsistently.

Plantbenders solve many problems that waterbending suffers from while deprived of bodies of water, as they can use the life around them instead to fuel their waterbending. They do not gain the extra damage of icebenders, however.

For balance purposes, plantbenders are also able to Heal.

Abilities

VineManipulation

The only Plant-specific move, this move has two functions:

a) Whip, the user holds crouch to select a plant source and releases crouch to fire it wherever they are pointing. This does high damage to the target and has a very long range.

b) Armour, the user holds crouch to select a plant source and clicks to equip green leather armour.

Drain

Hold crouch near plant sources to drain water, which will fill any buckets or bottles in your inventory. If you have nothing to fill, you can click to fire small blasts of water at your enemies.

PlantArmor

Crouch at any plant source to activate this move. You will be granted a mana bar representing the mass of plants on you, which is consumed using moves and will disable the move when it is empty. It is a MultiAbility, so it will reset your slots for a new set of PlantArmor slots. These are:

1) VineWhip: Click to strike enemies

2) RazorLeaf: Hold crouch to form a spinning disc of leaves. Release crouch to fire it outwards, and crouch again to pull it back. It will deal damage to enemies it hits.

3) LeafShield: Crouch to form a shield of leaves in front of you, which will follow your cursor.

4) Tangle: Click at an enemy to constrict them to the spot they're standing.

5) Grapple: Click to fire vines at surfaces, which you will then be pulled towards.

6) LeafDome: Crouch to form a dome of leaves protecting you.

7) Regenerate: Hold crouch to gather new plants and replenish your mana bar.

8) Disperse: To end the use of PlantArmor
