Cranefish Town

Cranefish Town is a small village in the Earth Kingdom. During the Acacian Crisis, the town was occupied by Acacian separatists and promptly besieged by Royalist forces. The town was notably more moderate than the rest of Acacian territory, seeking only a devolved status within the kingdom rather than outright independence. Following the fall of Gaoling to the Earth Kingdom, the town's defenders schismed between independentists and moderates. This infighting caused the defenses to collapse, allowing the Earth Kingdom military to sweep in and restore autocratic rule.

Today, Cranefish Town is a sleepy village, notable for having a railway station leading to Ba Sing Se.
