The Kingdom of Fryslân was an abortive attempt by monarchists on the island of Nij-Ljouwert to introduce a monarchy, in the model of the Earth Kingdom, to Fryslân rather than a capitalist or communist government. They largely failed to succeed on any fronts besides their home island and were soon snuffed out by anarcho-capitalist counterattacks after a failed landing on the mainland.
