Spirits are non-corporeal beings who possess a variety of magics that allow them to control their surroundings. All Spirits are either Light or Dark, but both also have a shared set of moves. Light spirits are aligned with players and neutral mobs, and have strong moves for agility and buffs but a relatively poor damage output. Dark spirits are aligned with hostile mobs against players, and have strong moves for damage and debuffs but have relatively poor agility.

Spirits have multiple passive effects:

  • Not taking fall damage
  • Having a random chance of gaining regeneration buffs upon taking damage or falling from a height

Below is a summary and guide of neutral Spirit moves that both Light and Dark can perform.

Origin

The origin of the spirits, or where their powers come from, is entirely unknown. Many religions have speculated on this matter to no avail.

Abilities

Possess

By holding crouch at a target, the target will be paralyzed and given severe debuffs and take damage. The user will also be paralyzed in the targets place, but without the negative effects.

Vanish

This move has two uses:

a) Teleportation. If the user holds crouch for at most a second and releases, they will be able to teleport wherever they're pointing. This function has a range of 20 blocks

b) Invisibility. If the user holds crouch and does not release, they will become invisible for a short while.

Agility

This move has three uses:

a) If the user clicks, they will launch forwards in whichever direction they are facing. This function has strictly horizontal use, meaning it cannot be used to move up/down, only side-to-side.

b) If the user holds crouch, they will activate a temporary jetpack that fires them wherever they point for a short while.

c) If the user taps crouch on this move twice and then clicks, they will fire wherever they point at extreme speed and altitude over a long distance, causing a small explosion wherever they left from and wherever they land.
