Icebending is a subelement of waterbending that allows the user to control ice and freeze water. It can resemble earthbending in its relatively slow and rigid moves. Icebenders are not any more powerful than another waterbender outside of cold biomes, but they become incredibly deadly in these environments.

For balance reasons, any user who picks Ice as their subelement may also carry Healing. Icebenders carry a passive effect where they do not take fall damage when falling on ice blocks.

Abilities

PhaseChange

This move allows icebenders to freeze and melt water. To freeze water, simply click. To melt ice, hold crouch at ice.

IceBlast

This move works similar to EarthBlast or WaterManipulation. The user taps crouch at an ice source to select it, and clicks to fire. This does additional damage compared to WaterManipulation, and deals a Slowness debuff.

IceSpike

This move has multiple functions which are:

a) Attack. The user taps crouch on *any* water source, and clicks to fire. This will send an ice spike wherever they point that does damage and deals a slowness debuff.

b) Spike. The user clicks on an ice block, and a pillar of ice will rise from wherever they click for a moment before descending. This does damage and deals slowness to any player it hits, and throws them in the air.

c) Walls. The user taps crouch while not pointing at any ice blocks, and an assortment of spikes will rise around them and fall, similar to the second function except more.
