The Floating City Crisis is an ongoing political conflict regarding the legitimate leadership of the Floating City's municipal government. It began with a police raid on the office of La Verdad, a temple-operated paper. In the aftermath, Templemaster Samigot asked for the resignation of Deputy Mayor Wren MacBride, who refused.
On March 14, 2022, Samigot loyalists, aided by a member of the Voidmaster's Order, performed a coup in the village of La Nada and captured the La Nadan Munitions Foundry.
