Gaoling is a town in the Earth Kingdom that serves as a major trade hub for land routes to Misty Palms Oasis and the Western Canal to the south, as well as Omashu and Peining to the north.
Following its acquisition by the Earth Kingdom, the town was briefly occupied by Acacian independentists during the Acacian Crisis. The re-capture of the town by royal forces catalysed the downfall of the Acacian movement.
