== Diplomacy ==

Mexico's first diplomatic interaction was with the [[Air Nation]] upon the formation of its borders and the claiming of the [[Floating City]]. This area was seen as ''de facto'' Mexican prior to the Air annexation and held a valuable source of coral that could not be easily ceded, causing a brief diplomatic incident. This was resolved when Grandmaster Murpple agreed to a deal wherein Mexicans would be allowed to enter Air Nation territory for the purpose of collecting coral only, and in exchange Mexico would recognise and accept the new Air Nation boundary.

This diplomatic tension did not fully resolve as during Grandmaster Murpple's diplomatic world tour aboard the newly built HWS Surging Gale, Mexican officials refused to let the flagship enter Mexican airspace or meet with the Grandmaster unless he agreed to unilaterally grant open borders for all Mexicans seeking to enter Air Nation territory. This was declined.
