			Earthbending offers its users heavy attacks and powerful defense. This comes at the expense of mobility, as earthbenders move much slower than other elements on the whole. Additionally, they are highly dependent on solid ground to fight. While this isn't a particularly demanding request, as most locations will have earth on the ground, this can put earthbenders in a deeply vulnerable place in large bodies of water or while midair.

			Some subelements can serve to compensate these weaknesses or enhance what assets exist. [[Sandbending]] provides yet more power to those who reside in sandy environments, while [[Lavabending]] provides such an incredible increase in offensive power that it can prove self-destructive. [[Metalbending]] compensates for the previously mentioned vulnerabilities when removed from solid ground and mobility by providing a new set of resources to bend, which can be carried, and vastly expanded mobility via MetalCables.
